What is the weather like in your area now?
It’s still hot and humid here. But in many areas, the signs of balminess are being replaced with brightly colored auburn leaves and cooler weather. I love being able to wear layers in this weather. My style is normally more classic, but I can appreciate the boho look, especially in transitional periods like the early fall. I love how boho layers can easily be mixed and matched for a casual chic look.
Here is what I look for in boho layers to carry me through to fall:
- Pieces constructed of cotton or other light material
- A fun jacket in a classic style
- Dresses that are great for the weekend (maxis are awesome and they cover everything!)
- Tops that are airy and work from day to night

It still feels like summer in NYC but I do’t really mind since the cold weather is going to be here soon and to stay. The leaves are starting to turn a little which is really pretty but I don’t have to tell you how nice NYC is in the fall 🙂
