What kind of touches do you like in your home?

If the answer is bows, polka dots, and bright, yet classically chic pieces of decor, Kate Spade Home definitely fits the bill.  Kate Spade’s namesake quirky and cute images already translate well as accessories, so it makes sense that the brand’s visuals also seamlessly fit into the home as well.  Kate Spade has made pieces of home decor for some time ranging from colorful trays to fun, gold-dotted vases.  Kate Spade Home expands on these pieces and takes them further.

But don’t think that it’s just about bows and pink frills.  Signature gold polka dots and font are also abundant as are bold uses of color, like the mint Drake sofa, or images like the playful wink seen in the Eyelashes square glass jewelry tray.  The lines of the pieces are usually clean and classic – the benches and chairs could fit easily into a glamorous urban apartment as well as a beautiful home set in a well-manicured suburban neighborhood.

I love the possibilities that the different colors bring to a room – change up the color of the upholstery and linens and the vibe goes from a youthful feminine one to a subdued elegant one.

I’m definitely excited about the bright introduction of furniture.  What do you think of the Kate Spade Home collection?

I actually have a subtle polka dot theme going on with my decor cause polka dots make me happy. This line is so fun and whimsical but it definitely skews a little feminine which wouldn’t work for me cause I have my husband to consider.

Kate Spade Home definitely skews feminine but I’d still sneak in a few pieces. You’re much more considerate of your husband’s taste, haha.
