I loved the ethereal feel of these gravity zero photos by Tlex Photography.
These models are simply defying gravity and floating through the air. While the settings range from a grand atrium to a dark street and a dilapidated apartment, they all exude a sense of magic and wonder. Gravity quite literally keeps us grounded. Our feet will always touch the ground without us putting any effort into it. Even if we jump up, we will always come down. As Terry mentions above, it really is a habit that is hard to shake off.
Yet once in a while, we can forego convention and the natural laws of nature. These gravity zero picture by Tlex photography remind me of swimming. We can furiously paddle through the water or we can simply float. This reminds me that there are many practices or norms that are simply standard. But once in a while someone or something will come along, disrupt the norm, and create a new way of doing things. Then, we too can defy gravity and the standard. I hope to be part of something where I can also do things a little unconventionally. Here’s to hoping that we all get the chance to float then!
