March on and keep on moving.
I was thinking about beautiful movement when I first saw these gorgeous photographs from Kyle Froman. I always enjoy seeing pictures of dancers because they have such a sense of grace and simply create art with their bodies. I admire the complete control they have over their bodies (says the eternal klutz). It is interesting to see these photos because Kyle Froman is a former NYC Ballet himself. Are they more comfortable around him? Do they move different around him?
I also thought about movement when I saw these photos. While these aren’t action photos, there is a sense of fluidity. These movements will lead to another great pose or is just one in a series of movements. I saw this quote above and thought about how we must all keep moving. Of course life can be difficult sometimes or scary, but we must still march on. We can’t help things or people that may block our path, but we can control ourselves. We must always remember to keep marching on and moving forward. After all, if beautiful poses like these are an example of movement, why shouldn’t we keep moving right?
