So I’ve discovered the prettiest and coolest luggage ever via Raden.
Did Steve Jobs go and secretly create a luggage line? I’m not affiliated with Raden. But as you know, I am a lover of great design. I saw Raden’s signature streamlined pastel pieces in a few articles and had to take a closer look. Their range of shades includes a rainbow of atypical colors like the soft Pantone colors of the year – Serenity and Rose Quartz (which I love in Sephora’s signature Pantone collection). I would love, love, love the light pink luggage – the details go down to pink sides by the wheels to pink handles creating a seamless silhouette.

But this suitcase set isn’t all about good looks. The hardshells of these suitcases (there are only two designs) are made from high gloss or matte polycarbonate and is lightweight. Even the zippers (that match with your suitcase color) are lined in polyurethane to make the suitcase waterproof.
A22 Carry – 22″ domestic carry on size, 7.5 labs
A28 – 28″ checked baggage size, 11.2 lbs
The smart suitcase also has a built in scale in the handle which can relay the weight of your luggage to your smartphone (how cool!) It also has built in proximity sensors so you know your luggage is close by and two USB ports to charge your phone up to 4 times.
It’s really exciting to see Apple’s design and functionality reflected in a different type of product. I’m an avid traveler and decided to upgrade to a few Tumi Vapor pieces a few years ago. My husband was at first skeptical since our Travelpro Walkabout pieces have served us really well for a while, but now only reaches for the Tumi pieces because they hold up and move so well. I’m going to try to test out Raden pieces in their NYC store and will see if they are worthy of replacing or complementing our existing luggage!

Jo, that’s the cool thing – the Raden luggage is not just smart luggage, but lightweight too at 7.5 lbs and 11.5 lbs for the carry on and check in size, respectively. I’m seriously impressed!

i can’t believe i’m saying this–that luggage is GORGEOUS! when have i ever talked about luggage? i love the features too. now i just need the set! wish i had an extra 595 lying around or i’d snatch them right up!
