Mountainscapes by Paolo Pettigiani

I’m not much of a hiker, but do appreciate the majestic view from a mountain.  I last hiked up a mountain about 6 years ago in LA.  My friends and I were there to attend a wedding and decided to go hiking in the morning.  We were all drenched and sweaty a few hours later but were glad to have taken in the views of Los Angeles.

It would be be so cool to see parts of Italy from up high, like Paolo Pettigiani.  He took a series of photos of the Italian Alps and they really capture the natural beauty of these mountains.  Moutainscapes by Paolo Pettigiani shoes a series of pictures from and around these picturesque places. I have to remember to get to Italy and see these gorgeous skies myself!

Otherwise this weekend I am…

…celebrating a friend’s birthday!  I love celebrating other people’s birthdays and I think it’s sad that we have fewer celebrations as we get older.  We seem to go from hosting our own birthday parties into only celebrating our children’s birthday parties.  I haven’t seen this friend in a while now that she’s a mom of two.  I’ll be happy to join a few friends for some good food and laughs.  This also reminds me that my husband’s birthday is happening in a few months!  I already started planning and hopefully it should be fun! #partyon
