I’m a native New Yorker, so obviously I have a lot of black clothing in my wardrobe. I always had several pairs of black pants and quite a few black jackets. Now that I’m in a tropical climate, I’ve incorporated brighter and lighter colors into my wardrobe as well. I’m currently hunting for a white, cover-up for the summer. I think it would be the perfect transition piece from the beach or pool to lunch. This gorgeous editorial featuring Lily Aldridge & Rosie Huntington-Whiteley for Elle Australia June 2016 has me on the hunt for white dresses as well.
I always have a few staple white pieces of clothing for summer. I have a favorite white Milly sheath dress with the coolest boat collar and gold chain. It looks a bit like this Milly dress and I love the fit and versatility of it. I’ve worn it everywhere from work to parties (not weddings of course). Little white dresses are similar to little black dresses in their versatility. Thus, it makes sense that I’m always drawn to white clothing and dresses during these warmer months. So I’ll keep on looking for a perfect white cover-up and dress for my summer parties.
