What kind of art moves you? I am most touched by photography and sometimes paintings as well.  I saw this editorial of Karlie Kloss for Vogue Mexico October 2016 and starting thinking about the concepts of emotion in art. A photograph can be especially poignant if the model communicates emotions effectively. While all models are striking, some simply wear clothing well. Other models really convey a wide range of emotions in their pictures.  Some model’s emotions are so much more apparent in their pictures.

I can see the intensity in Karlie’s gaze. As a result, I am more drawn into some of the pictures.  While some editorials are interesting because of their settings, others are more memorable because the models conveyed a greater range of emotions.  Some models are simply insta-popular.  But the more interesting ones are those that take great pictures. They are part of photos that are truly works of art.

Have a lovely week!

I find photography most moving as well and it’s ofetn the most simple images that are the most compelling to me.

I don’t really pay attention to models, but some of the clothes are really cute.

Karlie Kloss always takes great pictures. I believe her background as a dancer also helps. Her poses in pictures and expressions always appeals to readers.
