The Coolest Kitchen Nooks

October 19, 2016

What is your favorite room in your house? I love our living room.  Even though I hate our current couch, it is really comfortable and I love lounging there.  Our living room is also our little one’s playroom.  When I was little, I loved the kitchen nook in my aunt’s home.  We would visit her every summer and stay for a few weeks.  She lived in various houses throughout Southern California and she always had a casual kitchen nook attached to the family room.  We had all of our meals there.  We also started there at the beginning and end of every day laying out and organizing our items for the day.

We are moving to a slightly larger apartment next year.  I will make some modifications to the kitchen.  While I won’t have a kitchen nook, I hope I can also create a similarly cozy corner in my new place!

The second picture is absolutely dreamy! If I can have a space like that in my home, it would be a dream come true.

I absolutely LOVE those! Especially the last one. I’m thinking of doing that in my kitchen. L shaped “sofa’, round table and two chairs. I saw one in Ballards Designs that I liked. But they are expensive! HAHAHA
