What was the last beautiful site that you witnessed? I’ve been thinking about beauty more and more. While I haven’t made any concrete resolutions for now (really it’s just more of the same around health and perseverance), I have made a small declaration: I will continually seek beauty around me. If I take a closer look, I discover such beautiful things around me. This L’OFFICIEL Paris September 2016 Black Beauty editorial reminded me of beauty in different shades, textures, and patterns.
Beauty can be found in so many things: the shade of a house around the corner, the detail on a little one’s dress, or in the way the clouds form on a particularly bright day. It’s been a rough year, but there were some pretty wonderful moments too, like our trip to the Maldives and great eats in the San Francisco Ferry Building. I hope to document more beauty everyday, not just in my travels. I also hope to pick up and refine my photography skills as well this year.
