Deep in every heart slumbers a dream, and the couturier knows it: every woman is a princess.

Have you ever dreamed of becoming a princess? To tell you the truth, I’m not sure if I ever fantasized about it when I was younger. But my little one certainly thinks she is a princess.  My friends have gifted her a musical Elsa dress (seriously the dress sings) and a Princess Celestia My Little Pony. So she is well aware that some among us wear tiaras and have long sparkly dresses. One of my favorite princesses is Belle from “Beauty and the Beast”.  I love that Emma Watson is playing Belle in the upcoming live action movie. Emma Watson by Tim Walker for Vanity Fair March 2017 celebrates being a princess, but in an untraditional sense.

Emma surely wears a few long, romantic gowns.  But she is also seen in modern and edgy outfits as well.  The distinct outfits allow her to move, make a powerful statement, and express herself in different ways. It is wonderful and inspiring to see that princesses are capable of so many things. It is also great to think that all of us are princesses. Every woman has a chance to be glamorous and beautiful in her own way.

Have a lovely week!

I love this editorial – very strong and beautiful! Of course, that long white dress (3rd from the bottom) is utterly gorgeous, but I equaly love the oversized blazer on her.

Thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful week!

I think most little girls probably have dreamt of being a princess at some point, I’m not certain if I did but I know I was always fascinated with crowns. 🙂

This is an absolutely artful and stunning spread of Emma. We’ve literally seen her grow up on screen!

I’m very fortunate to be married to somoen who regularly makes me feel like a princess even though I’ve never dreamt of being one. Emma Watson is one of a few young actresses who is actually a good role model the work she has done with the UN has been so inspiring and empowering.

One of my first birthday cakes was Cinderella! LOL So yes, I always loved fairytales. But I love the more recent princesses. They’re a lot stronger now. I love belle. So glad I dressed as her for Halloween. Loved this Editorial. There was much controversy about the “breast” pic. HaHaHa Read about it, but hadn’t seen the rest of the editorial. Glad you posted it here.

I can’t say I’m a fan of this particular editorial – I don’t find the way it was shot, or the way Emma looks in the images, appealing. :/

    xx
