Happy Fun, Free Friday lovelies!

Lanvin Autumn/Winter 2017 Ready to Wear Details

I’ve always loved the feminine, but quirky details at Lanvin. Alber Elbaz seemed to exude a warmth and sense of fun that carried over into his designs. Lanvin flats were among the first high end shoes I’ve purchased.  I continue stalking them on sale and on eBay and will gladly pay for great Lanvin flats.  While I’ll always keep a tab on Alber, I’m also curious to see what Bouchar Jarrar will bring to Lanvin. She aims to express “the tenderness and force of women” to the brand.  Feminine forces are in full force with pink frills, metallic floating birds, and loose layers of chiffon. I adore the feathered belts and that is definitely on my wish list! The collection contains soft colors and delicate touches which matches my aesthetic.

Otherwise, this weekend I am…

…going to try to check out a few local art installations.  We are taking the little one to an art exhibit and inflatable playground with one of her favorite friends.  I think it will be pretty exciting and I’m prepared to be exhausted!  We will hopefully also get to a nighttime art exhibit by the bay.  It’s been a long week so we’ll see if I’ll have the energy to do something at night!

What are you up to this weekend?

Have a lovely weekend!

The creations look so feminine and just gorgeous. Just ou of curiosity, how do you know that the seller on eBay is legit and selling an original Lanvin? I’m so wary of fake goods. 🙁

True that – I HATE fake stuff! I have 2 pairs of Lanvin flats from a department store so I can compare the insole and labels. Otherwise, I basically only buy from 100% positive feedback sellers too. I just bought one pair from a reseller and am contemplating another pair. eBay really has the best selection for colors that may have sold out so I just hope it’s all ok!

I’ve always been a fan of Lanvin. I miss Elbaz. I equated him to the name 😀 But I love these gorgeous touches.
