FFF – iPhone Photography and going out

September 29, 2017

Happy Fun, Free Friday lovelies!

iPhone Photography

It’s hard to believe that I was still using a regular, non-smart phone only 6 years ago.  I had gotten a new job and my husband convinced me that I should get a new iPhone.  I definitely got addicted to having instant access to my email and of course social media now (this is my Instagram – let’s connect!) We always have our phones with us and for many people, it is their main camera as well. I use my iPhone camera daily and love the bokeh effect.  These iPhone photography examples are next level – I love the composition and interesting range of subjects.

Otherwise, this weekend I am…

…trying to venture out a little more.  It isn’t that easy because the baby gets hungry and sleepy at very specific times.  While he can sleep very comfortably on me, he can only sleep on me which is exhausting.  Does anyone have any tips for getting a baby to be comfortable in their own cribs (this was funny enough much better a few weeks ago)?  Help!  But we have friends who will be repatriating in a few weeks and I’d love to see them at least once more before they leave.  It’s nice being in a place where there are quite a few expats, but the downside is that we all leave eventually!  In the meantime, we’ll enjoy our time here.

What are you up to this weekend?

Have a lovely weekend!

I got my first iPhoe in 2010 and it was 3Gs and I used it until 2013 or was it 2014 and then I switched to iPhone 5. Gave it to my mum when I migrated to Canada and then I got iPhone 6 and last Christmas hubby got me an iPhone 7 which is amazing! I am an iPhone girl through and through, don’t think I can use anything else.

It’s amazing what an iPhone camera can do!

These are beautiful photos, it’s incredible the quality of photos you can get from a phone camera now if you know how to use it! 🙂

Sorry to hear you’re having troubles with baby not wanting to sleep anywhere other than your arms! I found that a baby carrier was helpful for those times, as well as heating the bassinet up first – as it was winter we put a heat pack in the bassinet then once baby was asleep we took it out and gently lowered him in – sometimes it worked, sometimes didn’t haha!

Hope you have had a good weekend! I’m currently enjoying the long weekend as it’s a public holiday today in Brisbane 🙂
