Fresh rose floral toner

Fresh rose floral toner review

September 19, 2017

What do you think of when you think of rosewater? I think of a sweet smelling liquid in a heavy glass bottle delicately being dabbed on by a mature, sophisticated lady; it seems like something that Ms. Blanche Devereaux from the Golden Girl would use. I didn’t think I’d use rose water any time soon.  Rose water is renowned for moisturizing and mildly clarifying the skin. After all, Blanche always looked good right? Fast forward to the present day and I decided to try out Fresh rose floral toner after seeing a promotion on Fresh.

I always use this in the evening before I apply my serum.  I don’t think I saw any significant difference in tightening or brightening effects.   But I was surprised to find that it really was a nice, mild moisturizer.  When I didn’t use this toner, I didn’t feel as fully moisturized.  I also like using it to prep my skin prior to using a mask.  I haven’t used this as a setting spray, but would be interested in this use as well. Overall, I would continue reaching for and using the toner though I would also be interested in using plain rose water too.

I haven’t tried this but I believe the reviews are pretty good. I never skip toner because I feel it’s an essential step to prep the skin for the following skincare products.

Yes I can see why rosewater used to conjure up old lady vibes but it’s really kinda cool nowadays. This sounds similar to the MUN Skin Care Anarose Hydrating Rose Toner which I’m totally in love with..

I’m so glad this worked for you. It didn’t work well with my dry skin. My skin felt drier & tight 🙁

      That’s a bummer – it’s surprisingly moisturizing on me!
