Salvador Dali Museum designed by HOK
I travel for many reasons and one of them is to experience great art and design. I would definitely go to St. Petersburg, Florida to visit the Salvador Dali Museum designed by HOK Architects. It has been named one of the “Buildings You Have to See Before you Die” by AOL Travel and I can see why. The largest showcase of Dali’s work outside Europe is stunning in and of itself. It’s another good reason to visit Florida!
Otherwise, this weekend I am…
…off to another birthday party. We used to celebrate my close friend’s birthdays but those celebrations are more frequent and replaced more and more with kiddie celebrations. My friend has requested no presents, but I always like bringing a little something anyway. My birthday is in a month so I’m still going to cook a lot of food and invite friends over to party. I guess I always like an excuse to feed and see people!

I would expect anything with the Salvador Dali name to be impeccably designed and this museum sure looks like it doesn’t disappoint.

Oh gosh, the architecture of the building is fascinating! And I think you and I both shared the same hobby; cook, feed people and have a good excuse to have people over. LOL!

So funny because I’m from Florida (but I’ve never been to St. Pete), but the hubs is a big Dali fan. So maybe the next time we go back to Florida we should take a road trip to this museum. It does look amazing.
