Are you a Game of Thrones fan?  It’s probably the only show I regularly watched recently post baby.  It helps of course that the episodes are fast paced and thrilling (ice dragons!!!) While the show is taking a long break until the final season (sniff), there is still plenty to catch up via the actor’s personal lives. Sophie Turner aka Sansa just got engaged at the tender age of 21 and Jon Snow will wed his wildling princess in real life. When I saw Game of Thrones in Time magazine, I was reminded more of the actors, rather than the characters that they portrayed.

But the show isn’t just interesting because of its action and political scheming, it’s interesting because it shows character evolution. We see Jon Snow unwillingly embrace his natural leadership and Sansa utilize her pain and knowledge of manipulation to have a better control of her destiny. At their cores, they are still people shaped by the values instilled in them by their families choosing to fight another day. I can’t wait for the final season!

I watched the first season but dropped off after that, I couldn’t keep up with the drama and I hate that the characters that I love got killed off all the time. LOL!

I’m finally caught up with GOT’s! At first I didn’t know how i felt about the show, with how men devalued women. But now the women are winning! Loved the ice dragon. So chilling. Can’t wait for the new season. We often only see them as characters. So this was refreshing.
