Happy Fun, Free Friday lovelies!
Flower-shaped color pencils
Leave it to a Japanese designer like Toshihiro Otomo to create beauty out of mere pencils. These flower-shaped color pencils represent some of Japan’s traditional and beloved plants – bellflower, evergreen, dandelion, plum and cherry. They’re not only bright and easy to use, but are also sustainably created from recycled paper in a process minimizing environmental waste.
Oh and check out how the shavings look like flower petals. The bright colors and lovely shapes make me appreciate great design. How beautiful and unique are these pencils?
Otherwise, this weekend I am…
..heading back across the Pacific and getting used to life again in SE Asia. Southern California has been wonderful and I’m glad we made the trip. The little guy did not sleep well, but had so much fun with his cousins and new friends. We are also eating our fill of burgers, Mexican, and Peruvian foods. I’m not loving having to take the second longest flight on earth with a baby. Seriously, it’s almost 18 hours. But we do what we have to do without faster planes and teleportation right? #inventfasterplanesplease
What are you up to this weekend?
Have a lovely weekend!
