Did you have any lofty ambitions when you were growing up? I don’t mean, did you want to become an award winning actress or a CEO. But did you want to find a cure for cancer? Or did you want to design rocket ships? Perhaps you wanted to shake up the world, in your own way.  I saw this editorial of Taylor Swift in UK Vogue January 2018 which was about dreamers and thought about the dreamers of this generation.  Some people, like Mark Zuckerberg, wanted to connect people and may not have truly foreseen that he would create a completely new way for people to interact.  Imagine how different we acted in the days before social media! Others, like Elon Musk, boldly say they do want to change the world and literally live on other planets. Talk about ambition right?

While I don’t have any earth shattering goals, I certainly admire people that are seeking to change the world.  Some people are trying to enact changes in legislation and people’s mindsets or teach others to embrace a wellness based lifestyle. I appreciate and admire how the younger generation truly is trying to change the world.  Hopefully my kids will also be dreamers seeking to make changes for the better.

Have a lovely week!

I wanted to be an air stewardess and see the world and I actually made the selection rounds for Singapore Airlines but my parents put a stop to it. They didn’t think it was a great job and forced me to take computer programming programme in college which I hated and dropped out after two semesters. Oh well….

The makeup looks really good — very old school glamour with the hair as well. I’m just not at all into Taylor Swift.

Mine has always been on a small scale. Doing things for people without anything in return. Without any expectations. I’ve always wanted to own a food bank. Where anyone can walk in, get what they need without any questions or expectations. I admire those that can do things on a larger scale. I didn’t even recognize Taylor Swift. Amazing photos.

You are such a kind and generous soul Kim. It would be awesome to run a food bank and provide for anyone that wants a meal!
