Celebrating Love Every Day: Prints and a free Walgreen’s Collage print 2/12

February 11, 2010

Why should love and celebrating love be limited to one day?  Particularly when that one day causes unnecessary gift pressure, inflated prices, and a plethora of guilt-inducing marketing campaigns.  We’re not sure what we’re doing but don’t feel pressured to have to go to a particular restaurant or exchange gifts (finding a place to live is definitely higher on the list!).  I mean, if we get each other cool things, awesome, but seriously no pressure here.

So I say celebrate love whenever you can (with some cool prints no less, can you tell I’m in a decor state of mind?)

Because we all need love

Oh yes and for a totally free gift with your own pictures, go to photo.walgreens.com.
You can get a free 8x 10 collage (found in the “Gifts” section) on Feb. 12 by entering code “vday” at checkout. I created a collage of some fun wedding pictures and thought that would be nice in our room.

Note: The online tool is very basic and will automatically lay out your pictures.  You can only rearrange by pressing the “Shuffle” under options.  I worked with fewer pictures so each of the pictures stood out a little more.

Have fun with the pictures in your life!

Oh how I totally agree with this! Mr Fix It and I refuse to go out on V-day because of the inflated prices, bad service and packed places wherever you go. We also aren’t huge on gifts for this ‘holiday’…particularly because my daughter’s birthday is one week before V-day and Mr Fix It’s b-day is one week after V-day. 🙁 We already have enough going on during February. Whereas I used to get really bummed that we didn’t do much for this day, I finally got it that it’s important to celebrate and acknowledge our love regularly…not just one stupid commercialized day of the year 🙂

So. Incredibly. True. Love should be celebrated year-round. And I want to celebrate it with that print from luxxpierre – the red heart-shaped balloon sucked me in!! 🙂

You are so right about V day, I ompletely agree, we should be celebrating every sigle moment and enjoy every minute, take nothing for granted.
We won’t do anything special, we will probably cook together and relax. Love the prints!
