Worthy reads roundup – Lanvin for H&M, my future bedroom colors, and Kitchenaid sale this week

November 6, 2010

How was your week lovelies?

Here is what happened at Chic ‘n Cheap Living this past week:
– Venture forth and express yourself!
Sephora Friends & Family discount was this week – what are your beauty recommendations?
– Highlights from the La Perla launch party at Marina Bay Sands (and a new box for my husband!)
– Drool.  Stalk. Shop.  My favorites from the Lanvin for H&M Collection
The world’s largest pool and lagoon is amazing.
– A handbag’s unique lining has pushed me into buying it (and other ladies have done the same!)
– Check out the Ruelala Final sale for this season’s best deals (Catherine Malandrino for less than $50?!)

Here are a few fun posts from blogger buddies and beyond:
– Karen highlighted Lizzy Carney’s pink and slated bedroom and it’s my new inspiration

– Megan fixed this pesto penne and I would LOVE some of it right now!
This gold bench featured by Paloma really called to me.  I love all the incongruent seating in this living room!
– The Coach Holiday campaign is launching soon and there will be another party in NYC!  Dawn and I attended the party in June and it was great – go if you’re around!
– KitchenAid is a necessity for the baker and cook – no questions asked.  This week refurbished KitchenAid mixers directly from KitchenAid are half off – $179.  Definitely invest and at this price.  Isn’t the color super fabulous?

OMG! That color KitchenAid is INCREDIBLE–best I’ve ever seen! As for Sephora, I cannot recommend Dior Airflash Spray Foundation highly enough. It is expensive ($60) but literally makes anyone’s skin look like a doll’s–FLAWLESS. And it’s light and easy to use. I’ve never had anything come close to comparing . . .

I also love Urban Decay’s primer potion for eyes, Smashbox’s smudge pot for eyeliner (it stays!), OPI for Sephora “Only Gold for Me” topcoat . . . can you tell this is my favorite store??

That bedroom inspiration photo is gorgeous and so romantic. I love that.

I missed out on Sephora F&F, but I did just get the Urban Decay Naked Palette from Ulta and it really is fab.
