Here is what happened at Chic ‘n Cheap Living this week:
– My favorite Oscar 2011 gowns came in a few colors – red, purple, nude, and silver
Sophie Theallet for Nine West launches and Paris meets New York in the best way!
– My favorite covetable celebrity closets...oh how lovely it would be to own all those Jimmy Choos!
– Animals run rampant with maxi length skirts and luxurious silk blouses for Lanvin Pre fall 2011
DIY Doily bowls – so delicate and adorable!

Hey Gorgeous posted a super fun and easy DIY for these canvas prints.  I need to find an art supplies store quick because I really want to make this!

– I love that you can use leftover oatmeal (not from your bowl, from a large batch of ready made oatmeal!) for these oatmeal blueberry muffins – it’s going in the healthy recipe file!
Jules created a DIY yarn wreath using these felt flowers.  Aren’t they adorable?
– What will be the fate of John Galliano…at least the dressmakers have jobs

    Hmmm I don’t know about applying the the creme de coco masque close to the roots, it looks cool! I just don’t use daily conditioner anywhere near my roots because it weighs the hair down. But I think if you are using a mask treatment only once in a while it is ok to apply near to the roots 😉
