Worthy reads roundup – Floral beauty, H&M Summer collection, and gluten-free food that tastes good

June 5, 2011

Hope you had a great week lovelies!

Here is what happened at Chic ‘n Cheap Living this week:
– Photo love: Floral beauty
– Fun Finds: iPod Hoodie
– {Fashion} Highlight: H&M Summer collection (my perfect purple midi is here!)
– Wardrobe staple – cross-body bags (so functional and cute!)
Spring sales and Cirque Eloize fun!

Here are some worthy reads from blogger buddies and beyond:
– The rise of delicious gluten-free food has been gradual, but pronounced in the last few years with pretty delicious results these days.  I’d love to try a few recipes!

Hauteworld wrote about Project Ocean – a Selfridge’s exhibit that both displays unique marine inspired clothing, while also highlighting the problems of overfishing and poor fishing practices.
– Style is timeless.  Iris Apfel’s wonderfully eclectic apartment definitely attests to that!
– There are now four great shelter (home/decor) online magazines,  This article takes an interesting look at the dynamics between the magazines.

I need to learn how to make gluten free items as well! I realised that while being on competition prep cutting out wheat and gluten has made such a HUGE difference….I think I may have an intolerance to it : (
