That article about judging a woman by her ring at an interview made me furious! As if a man would ever be judged by his expensive watch, ring or any other article of clothing.
well, that is true about the ring;; where I work ; I actally have to dress ‘commen’ and cannot wear my designer bags otherwise people give comments to me that I shouldn’t work there anymore because I have money enough !!! (when in real life I earn as muche as they do , it’s where you spent your money on that makes the difference !!

I have a sapphire engagement ring, which I wanted. I had someone comment once that my guy must’ve not had a lot of money since he couldn’t afford a diamond. It made me SO ANGRY. Who would judge someone because of that?

I just read the engagement/large diamond ring article. That is absolutely absurd, if a man showed up at an interview with a Breitling or a Patek Philippe nobody would question if he needed that job. So we should just hide our jewelry during the interview process and then wear it once we secure the job but of course that is only after getting a raise…Gotta love corporate america!
Damn damn damn, this Target for Missoni collection is going to slay me come September. DAMN!
That engagement ring article is interesting. However I’d like to point out that far too many people think that all diamonds are conflict diamonds. Tiffany’s, for example, uses only NON-conflict diamonds. And yes, those exist… diamond mining is prevalent in India, too, and it really annoys me when people are so narrow-minded about it!
