Fall/Winter Decor Thoughts: Easy touches for seasonal decorating

November 29, 2011
The seasons can as easily be celebrated indoors as well as outdoors.  I love the practical, easy, and savvy methods of using seasonal foliage and food as indoor decor.  Or switch out the color scheme of your living room to include rich reds, golds, and oranges.    This reminds me to go out and get some red vases for the holidays (vasen from IKEA is one great option) or fill clear vases with decorative ribbons and bows.
Can you tell that I’m in the holiday spirit?  What decor touches put you in the holiday mood?

It’s certainly a practical way to celebrate the season. Love the pumpkin candle holders. I might steal the idea.

I love the pinecone tree! These are great decor solutions for people (like me) who don’t have a ton of storage space for seasonal items. I love filling clear vases we have around the house with ornaments, too 🙂

I’m Jewish, so we don’t decorate out house, but my MIL goes all out for X-mas at her house. Needless to say the tree is up, all the white candles have been traded in for red ones, a little snow village has been built, and the placemats, napkins, etc are all x-mas themes.

Such pretty holiday decorations, I love the branches in glass vases. I especially love Christmas Trees and there’s nothing like walking all around NYC and spotting a Christmas tree here and there to put me in the holiday season! Plus the fact that our lil ole tree is already up 🙂

    ‘Tis the season!

    xoxo
