My husband still remembers and wants to return to the serene waterways and bright blue skies of Phuket (but we just came back two months ago!) I was never much of a nautical person, but have to admit that I really loved sailing all day. I had such a feeling of peace and contentment by being on the water; I was so happy to just sit back and passively admire the beauty of nature. The siren call of the water is hard to resist. That or I just really need a vacation again.
I am planning another trip atop the waters in the Southeast Asian region. We are thinking of the beaches of Malaysia or Vietnam this time. While I don’t expect to be nearly as glamorous as Charlize when I am relaxing in the water, I know I will get the same serene satisfaction.

Beautiful images! I’m a huge fan of large expanses of water, and am most comfortable when I’m in the ocean bobbing amongst the waves. Can’t wait to read about where you’re headed next. My husband has spent some time in Vietnam and it’s his favorite place he’s ever visited!

how gorgeous! I would love to have a photo shoot with crashing waves and rushing waterfalls… although I doubt lying on rocks isn’t nearly as comfortable as she makes it look…
