While we are on the subject of beauty, I love to give and receive unique or interesting beauty products. I mostly order and like to share a few staple items but like to try out new collections such as the lovely Marc Jacobs for Sephora line or much talked about products like the Hourglass Immaculate liquid powder foundation (any product that supposedly improves my skin is worth a try!) Palettes are a great idea because they offer a range of colors and starter sets or brushes are always useful for the amateur beauty queen.

Thank you Sam! I definitely want to try the Urban Decay and Stila palettes as well. I’m doing well. It is freezing in NYC (literally!) Sunday was nice and at least it was above freezing temperatures. But it definitely felt like holidays and even snowed. I’m just not used to the cold anymore!

I’ve been seeing blog posts on that Naked 3 palette and let me tell you it is GORGEOUS! Such soft colors. I think anyone could wear. I’ve had my eye on Naked eyeshadows for awhile. I think I might splurge in the new year for that one.
