Who made your Emmys 2016 best dressed list?
I love looking through award show pictures and wondering if they were worth seeing. But I was surprised at the gorgeous glamour on the red carpet. The glamour wasn’t about striking statement jewelry. Instead stars let their dresses shine. These dresses had beautiful silhouettes, patterns, and colors. I also loved the striking simplicity of some pieces. Natasha Lyonne owned her contrasting cape dress. Sarah Hyland genuinely looked like she was having fun in her floral dress and pants outfit.
I found myself gravitating towards gowns in simple white or nude colors as well as black and white. I was also captivated by a few red gowns which were at home on the red carpet. Finally I loved the gorgeous shape of Emily Ratajkowski’s dress and the bold styling of Kerry Washington’s dress.

It was nice to see some modesty and restraint on the emmy red carpet this year. I was so happy that Tatiana Maslaney won and her dress was one of my favorites. My others were Michelle Dockery, Abigail Spencer and Viola davis.
My favorite was Priyanka Chopra! She looked amazing in that red dress! I should’ve known it was Jason Wu! It was fabulous.
