Imagine what it would be like not just to be rich, but crazy rich. Crazy rich as in they are among the 2,000 women in the world that fly into Paris to create their own couture gowns. When I saw crazy rich couture in US Harper’s Bazaar September 2018, I thought of these women and their amazing clothing. Oh please look at the amazing video accompanying the original article too. Imagine wearing that wearable art that a group of people have handcrafted just for you. There are people who have studied for years making embellishments from sequined flowers to ruffles! It’s so interesting and mind-boggling as is the concept of being crazy rich.
But I also found Kevin Kwan’s quote interesting that finding a treasure would demand a price as well. That is certainly true because if you’re extremely wealthy, you’re bound to have people after you only for your money. You have to be careful about your relationships and who you can trust. I have heard more than one story about how good friends and even family have stolen trade secrets or employees in demanding their own spoils. You may even have to be physically careful and have security guards at all times. So earning and keeping that treasure may be quite a task. But in the meantime, why not indulge in a little couture then?

Yes money can literally destroy relationships! The craziest thing about Crazy Rich Asians is that it is sem–autobiographical and such wealthy people really do exist in Singapore.
Oh my goodness! That mint dress is amazing. I can never even dream of having that much money, but if I did I’d completely understand spending some of it on pretty dresses to make you smile! 🙂
