It’s Christmas season which means it’s time for those lovely fir trees to get lit up and dressed up. I will definitely be checking out different trees around New York. I would also love to visit the Mayfair Hotel if I were in London to see the “The Tree of Love,”, the Christmas tree designed by Diane von Furstenberg. This chic tree has 8,000 hand-painted silver leaves, glass spheres, and 150 hand-blown hearts. Look closely below there tree and find six animals, each symbolizing a different ideal: an owl for wisdom, a dove for peace, a horse for wisdom, a deer for gentleness, a peacock for beauty, a mouse for curiosity. The entire lobby is filled with silver leaves and Murano glass baubles. Look up and see the zodiac sign constellations and be bathed in a warm silver and blue light.
Otherwise, this weekend I am…
…attending a few parties. I helped plan a fundraiser and it is finally happening! Event planning is always full of last minute surprises and mishaps though right? I’m also attending my husband’s office party which should be fun as well. I’m going to need a vacation after this weekend haha. But now it will only be a few weeks before we go to New York! Luckily I’m grabbing more winter baby clothing this weekend and we’re slowly getting there!
