Amsterdam Light Festival
I just discovered that one of my old friends has moved to Amsterdam. When we saw him a few months ago, he said he was contemplating the move. Another good friend has married a Dutchman and has a half Dutch newborn now. How is it that I haven’t visited this city any sooner? While I would love to visit during the spring to see tulips in bloom, I would definitely visit the Amsterdam Light Festival as well. I love how these installations frame the famous canals. It would make for quite a nighttime stroll wouldn’t it?
Otherwise, this weekend I am…
…celebrating with a few friends! We have a get together for a volunteer group I work with every year and I’m bringing the whole family to meet them. We also met a new friend who kindly invited us for a holiday get together. Then we’re off to see another set of friends as well for a meal. Honestly, our weekends are dominated by kids’ activities. So it’s nice to have events that actually are centered around us! #adultsagain

I just love the tech inspired light displays. So fun, and a little foreboding. I went to Amsterdam once, but would love to plan a return trip!
