I do love finding art that is created through unusual mediums (paper art, lace art). It is also interesting to see art presented through a familiar form, but in a very distinct way. Martha Pachon Rodriguez created porcelain art like you’ve never seen it before. The Colombian artist designs such detailed pieces with sharp details and such interesting texture. They are supposed to be seductive forms combining human and animal elements. The symmetry and contrasting colors are mesmerizing.

…en route to NYC! It’s been a mad week of cleaning, shopping, and running last minute errands. Now it’s time to relax for the 22+ hours in the air (haha, not really because the baby will probably not have it). Wish me luck and I can’t wait to get all the good eats while I’m in town!

Ah yes too true! MY FRIEND MAKES PORCELAIN ART AND POTTERY, SHE EVEN HAD A GALLERY SHOW HERE. I AM GOING TO COVER THAT IN A FUTURE VLOG. BUT YES WE ALL SHOULD HAVE SOME PORCELAIN ART IN OUR HOMES
