FFF – Visions in Motion

November 15, 2019

Happy Fun, Free, Friday lovelies!

It’s wonderful to see how are can transform a place. Patrick Shearn and his team at Poetic Kinetics created a massive installation covering 20,000 square feet and made up of 120,000 fabric streamers at the site of the former Berlin Wall; some of these streamers were filled with hand-written messages of hope. His team is known for their dynamic installations. I love the movement and lightness of these installations. The streamers form a malleable and airy wall symbolizing the new peace in the area.

Otherwise, this weekend I am…

…going to Kuala Lumpur (KL) for a short trip. Even though KL is so close, I’ve only gone twice – one for a work trip and the other time when we passed through for a few hours en route to Cameron Highlands. Now we decided to make a quick trip there to have some good Malaysian food and see the sites. I’m sure the kids will like some of the arts installations and we will likely take them to a museum too. I will also admit that I really want to see these gorgeous caves after spying people posting about it on Instagram. The kids would love seeing the colorful steps and beautiful art there.

What are you up to this weekend?

Have a lovely weekend!
