FFF – Lego x Walala installation at King’s Cross

February 7, 2020

Happy Fun, Free, Friday lovelies!

I love the inventive use of Legos (see my pictures of the awe-inspiring “Art of the Brick” exhibit a few years ago). Camille Walala collaborated with LEGO in the LEGO x Walala installation at King’s Cross Station in London to create a whole pop-art home to coincide with the release of LEGO dots. 8 containers are also available to commuters so that they can create their own dots as well. How fun would it be to do this after a stressful day at work right?

Otherwise, this weekend I am…

…trying to be keep safe, but also maintain most normal activities for the kids. Unfortunately, Singapore has 30 cases of the Novel Coronavirus now and everyone is taking precautions. Schools and clubs are canceling assemblies and staggering recess. The government is distributing surgical masks to each household. We get daily updates of the situation here and have had cases occur a little too close for comfort. We were going to travel to Taiwan, but are now cancelling that trip since cases have occurred there also (major bummer because I was craving all those foods). We are bringing my little lady to her activities, but hesitant with my son since he was a little sick and has weak lungs. I hope the effected are able to recover quickly and scientists are able to develop a vaccine soon!

What are you up to this weekend?

Have a lovely weekend!
