FFF – Vintage Valentine’s image downloads and Lunar NY BBQ!

February 4, 2011

Happy Fun, Free, Friday lovelies!

So how many of you are not ready for Valentine’s Day? (*raises hand*)  My husband and I will likely do something low key and haven’t talked much about gift exchange (though of course, who doesn’t like gifts right?)  I was reminded by Claire that one can just love and celebrate that.  I’m thinking of making something for the husband and found these vintage Valentine’s images adorable (though I’d likely enjoy them more than him!)

Otherwise, this weekend I am…
…throwing a Lunar New Year bbq!  We’ll be making dumplings, jap chae (Korean stir fried noodles), and grilling up lots of chicken.

So many fun stuff this weekend!

Btw, I did get that nail polish finally! It’s pretty amazing – have you tried it? I put it on on Sunday and just got my first chip this morning!

I love vintage Valentines! Have fun at your barbeque – I love playing hostess because it means I don’t have to go anywhere. Otherwise, we’re attending a Super Bowl party in the suburbs and I’m going to see my mom on Saturday night.

I like the new blog header. I am definitely NOT ready for Valentines Day. I bought some little V-Day cards from Target for my office, but that is it. Plus, Ducks and I always celebrate Feb. 12 as the day we officially started dating, so I have to do something there too – aaagh!

If you didn’t live so far away I’d beg (or I guess hint would be more polite) for an invitation! We always have a low key Valentine’s Day as well but I usually try to at least find a clever card.
