I’m one of those people that needs a vacation after a vacation (or a weekend rest after a weekend!) I have a habit of trying to do too much at once or wanting to cram everything in so that I don’t miss out on anything (a recipe for exhaustion right?) But I’d rather live for today and not regret having that I did it.
My weekend was definitely an example of perhaps doing too much. I cooked a full course dinner for a few friends on Friday, met a new friend for a long but great dinner, and took in some shopping and an art exhibit Sunday. I didn’t want to be someone else that complains that there is nothing to do during the weekend so I just go out there and do it!
Consequently, I was exhausted bit happy Sunday afternoon. Live hard and play hard, but relax hard as well! It’s a pretty good cycle!

That top image is such a great photo! I think it’s great that you get out there and do stuff-there’s no time like the present to have fun and Sunday afternoons are meant for taking it easy!

Lovely images! I am the same as you – I pack my weekends full and struggle to recover during the week. When I’m stressed out, I try to remember how lucky I am to be able to have friends and activities to fill my weekends 🙂
