For most of us above the equator, it is definitely autumn. The leaves may have changed color and the weather is getting a bit more brisk. With the cooler days (or stormier for those regions that don’t have too much of a weather change) also come shorter days. There are far more gray days now as the sun gets a little rest from all the work she was doing during the summer months. Gray isn’t a happy color, but it can be a beautiful, and almost mysterious neutral color. One of my favorite dresses is a gray shift from Zara and I would love some slate gray sheets with a pale pink headboard some day!

LOVE all of these photos. That room in the first photo is particularly stunning. Grey really is such an elegant and powerful color. I don’t really see it used much in home decoration, which is surprising when it’s clearly a striking color to use.

Great sweater! I really like gray and look forward to having gray in my own home one day. It’s not the happiest color, but I find it to be elegant and calming.
I like gray as a neutral colour in decor, its quite calming, the first room is beautifully designed.

SADLY grey looks absolutely awful on me. navy also looks terrible on me. no fair! i am jealous of those that wear these colors so well!
I just put our pair of grey sheet on our bed, and I just love them! They’re so comfy and make the room look cozy. Even if the days are grey, putting the color inside the house is so beautiful.
I really love grey, it’s such a great neutral.
