Otherwise this weekend I am…
…indulging in lots of dumplings. Of course I also love to make my own dumplings and will be making my favorite chicken gyoza for my daughter’s birthday party in a few weeks. But a friend wanted to try a great dumpling place by us so we are happily accompanying his family there. We will also be eating dim sum tomorrow where I’ll be sure to have a shrimp dumpling (ok technically har gow or xia jiao in Chinese). I won’t go on any longer about my love for dumplings. But just rest assured, I’ll be pretty happy on Sunday evening.

Kizzy, I would most definitely show you how to make dumplings or send them to you if they would keep! I’m very proud of perfecting my recipe through a lot of test batches, haha. Well some day if we’re ever in the same place, we could cook up a storm!

I’m actually planning on checking out the new J. Crew store that just opened up at Brookfield Place this weekend and I have a feeling this sale might tempt me into buying a few things. We just finished the last batch of dumplings we made last week and I’ll have to set aside time to make another batch to freeze. Happy weekend!

Stay dry this coming week dear! Yes, actually Mr. Rebates is pretty awesome too and sometimes has better cashback rates. My poor little girl has a fever so we are staying in. I decided to make dumplings at home though and that is always a good thing 😉
