Do you actually needcover ups in your closet?I can sheepishly say that I don’t need a few items in my closet anymore (adieu blue gingham shorts!) But I certainly feel like I need a cute pareo/sarang/coverup when I am traveling, especially to a tropical locale. I love pareos for a few reasons:
1. You can wear them in multiples ways – skirt, scarf, or dress
2. They are easy to pack and pretty versatile

I have a number of them because they are so functional, I sometimes use them for blanket on cold days especially when traveling and they have lots of other cool uses too.

I love the Batik Leaves pareo! I should probably stock up on a few of these for some weekend getaways that we have planned later this month.
I spent all last weekend at the beach and realized I didn’t have a proper coverup. It was too much of a hassle (after baking near the ocean) to put my shorts back on and I actually walked back to the car in my bikini–it would have been so much chicer to have been wearing a pareo–haha! But you are inspiring me to pick one up for next time!

This is a lovely selection! I have all but one coverup that I bring out for any beach jaunts and tropical vacays.
Thanks for your very sweet comments and support! One trick that I like to use for night photography is to set my camera down if I can and put the timer on to eliminate shake. I promise more tips if we ever get to meet up when you’re back in NYC 😉
