Worthy Reads Roundup – Women and Power, Chanel Coco Blue Beauty Product Review, and Clarins girls blog

September 1, 2012

Hope you had a great week lovelies!

Here is what happened at Chic ‘n Cheap Living the past week:

– Photo Love {Inspiration}:  Women and Power via Vanity Fair May 2012

– Beauty Product Review: Chanel Coco Blue

– Deocr Thoughts: Using Words as Home Decor

– Sale Spotlight: Bop Basics lace fedora

– FFF – 50% off DKNY sale items

Here are other worthy reads from blogger buddies and beyond:

– Beauty genes run deep!  The four grand daughters of Clarins founder have started a beauty blog where they will share beauty, life, and the secrets to la belle vie (pictured above)

– France is known for many things and one of my favorite places to visit in France are the little patisseries (pastry shops).  Here are a few noteworthy ones (doesn’t passionfruit caramel sound divine?)

– I am fascinated by documentaries following designers and fashion icons (has anyone seen “Valentino: The Last Emperor”?) and am excited to hear about a few new fashion related films, including one telling the story of Diane Vreeland and the other entitled “Scatter my ashes at Bergdorf’s”

– I didn’t realize that Sephora has hair tutorials – love the modern pin up!
