Fun Finds/FFF – A Modern Versailles and NY Deli favorites

I am very sad that I can’t remember where I found these pictures of a reimagined and renovated auditorium at the Château de Versailles.  But I am still left with the same feelings when I see them – the modern renovations are sleek and gorgeous, but does it leave enough of the original structure intact?  I hope and think so because it is such a historic and breathtaking building.  France also wholeheartedly embraces its beautiful buildings. It will be interesting though to see how modern technology and improvements can enhance it!

…trying out a new NY style deli that opened in town!  I have fond memories of chomping on thick slices of tender corned beef with a thick coating of mustard.  It it sad that good corned beef and pastrami are hard to find (though Langer’s in LA may actually be my favorite!)  A new NY style deli has opened up and I am very excited to try both the corned beef and pastrami options there.  I may even fit in a latke (well or bring something home!) Little things, like familiar foods, are very welcome to an expat!
