FFF -Jewel Changi Airport

August 14, 2020

Happy Fun, Free, Friday lovelies!

Hello friends! I’ve been super busy lately – deadlines, researching books and putting together activities for my kids, and getting back into shape. Life isn’t too shabby, despite the conditions outside. I wanted to share a site we’ve visited a few times in the last month – the airport! No, we haven’t left the country. But we have gone to the airport for fun. Jewel Changi airport is best know for its 40 meter high indoor waterfall; yes, it’s the tallest one in the world! The waterfall aka HSBC Rain Vortex is a free site to behold. It’s also incredibly awe-inspiring and calming just to hang out there. But we took the kids there to visit the canopy park and eat some good ‘ol dim sum. The retail space is really developed (an official Apple store opened there as well as a Shake Shack outlet) so it’s really a destination in and of itself. I’ll write about the Canopy Park and attractions another time.

Here are some of my favorite scenes at Jewel.

Otherwise, this weekend I am…

…throwing a series of mini celebrations for my husband! We are still only allowed 5 guests at any time so we will space it out so we (I) can also space out my stress lol. I think we will just have 2 larger parties and one smaller one with only one set of friends. I’ve also discovered Instant Pot cooking recently and loveeee cooking pulled pork. Do you have any other Instant Pot recommendations?

Have a lovely weekend!

Jewel Changi Airport looks magnificent. The way it’s like an airport that is also a destination is really cool. It’s no wonder you and your family have visited it just for fun.
