We all get older. Since we can’t do anything about it, we can at least just go with it. So I embrace some of the classics, but at least with with a modern twist. I’ve always adored a fun beret and like that the Brixton Audrey Beret Hat comes in a bold velvet. I’ve also wanted gold flatware for years and the gold mirror flatware is definitely at the top of my list. Finally, I’m in full on serum research mode. Sure I may be getting older, but I can still look great. The Verso Super Facial Serum was recommended by a new blogger I discovered, Jenny, so I’m definitely intrigued! I’m intrigued by the “supercharged levels of Vitamin A” and hey, I’ll try anything that reportedly diminishes spots and fine lines! But really Retinol has been around forever as an effective combatant against mature skin and I gotta use it!

This feels like a dress that my mom would have worn in the ’70s and which I’d happily still wear now.

I got a few Verso products in a Barneys GWP and I’m so intrigued to try more of the brand now.
I had a beret in high school, but I’m not sure I’d have the confidence to wear one now! I do really love that it’s velvet though! And I’m all for gold flatware!
