10 Fabulous buys from the Sephora 2018 sale - skincare and beauty

Ten fabulous buys from the Sephora 2018 Sale

November 9, 2018

True story – I was freaking out yesterday because I thought I missed out on the annual Sephora sale.  Luckily, it’s coming up soon for most of us (I don’t spend that much on beauty products). I never got excited/cared about skincare until a few years ago.  Now I am ALLLLLL for a good moisturizer, anti-aging serum, and vitamin/growth factor/hydrating face mask!  Luckily I still look younger than my age, but can also tell my lack of sleep *ahem kids* and lack of a skincare routine didn’t help.  Similarly, now that I occasionally apply some makeup, I really research and am willing to splurge on quality items.  Here’s the rundown of the sale details:

  • Rouge (Nov. 2 – Nov. 5, 2018, Nov. 9 – Nov. 12, 2018): ROUGEBONUS
  • VIB (Nov. 9 – Nov. 12, 2018): VIBBONUS
  • Insider (Nov. 16 – Nov. 19, 2018): BIBONUS

VIB status is worth obtaining and you can easily do it with this one sale! There are so many cool things, but I wanted to list ten fabulous buys from the Sephora 2018 sale.

10 Fabulous buys from the Sephora 2018 sale - skincare and beauty x

1. Supergoop! Daily Correct CC Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 35, $27.20 (from $34)

Sunscreen is a must for me and sunscreen in a CC cream form which also makes my skin appear smoother and healthier is ideal.

2.Foreo LUNA Mini 2 Facial Cleansing Brush, $111.12 (from $139)

Exfoliation and clear pores never gets old. I love that this brush combines silicone and mini sonic waves.

3.Kiehls Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Mask, $26.40 (from $33)

I’ve turned my husband onto the benefits of clay masks – it’s my favorite mask for deep cleaning and I like that this mask also has aloe vera to sooth skin as well.

4.Hourglass Ambient(R) Lighting Edit Volume 4, $64 (from $80)

I’ve used Hourglass Immaculate Foundation Powder and really liked it. Their products just have such a luxurious air and the ambient lighting palette is dreamy with a great mix of blushes and highlighters.

5. Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Cream by Drunk Elephant, $54.40 (from $68)

I’ve read a few good reviews of this protein moisturizer with peptides, growth factors, and amino acids.  I’m all for anything that goes beyond moisturizing to minimize my lines and improve skin tone.

These sets contain some really great values…

6. Huda Beauty Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette, $21.60 (from $27)

The pigmentation in this palette is supposed to be top-notch and just look at the gold eyeshadow right?

7. Fresh – Sugar Jetsetter, $36 (from $45 – value $74)

I always have several Sugar lip treatments and the mini set is always a great deal – the size is perfect and it comes with advanced lip treatment too!

8. Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial Mini, $22.40 (from $28)

This intense and immensely popular AHA/BHA facial is an anti-aging powerhouse combatting fine lines, dullness, and uneven texture. I love that it comes in this size now!

9. Tatcha Skincare For Makeup Lovers Obento Box, $51.20 (from $64, value $103)

I’m very tempted by this set because of the full size facial mist which would be fabulous and an extra boost during winter. The water cream is a recommended moisturizer and I’m curious about the silk canvas powder too. p.s. Tatcha also has a 20% off Friends and Family sale now!

10. Sunday Riley – Power Couple Duo: Total Transformation Kit, $68 (from $85, value $105)

This final skincare cult favorite exfoliates, brightens and moisturizes at once.  This is another great time to try out a well reviewed and pricey item.

Some of those sts look so tempting. I don’t really need anything right now so I’m just using this sale to pick up replacement brush heads for mine and my husband’s Clarisonics and some floss ;p

Lovely picks! I am not a big makeup skincare person, but like you the kids show in my face, haha! Maybe I should try more than I do, but a simple fuss-free routine is all I have the energy for at the moment, ha!

Hope that you are having a wonderful weekend 🙂 It’s a relaxing one here!

I saw that Tatcha set which I think was released after the Rouge sale and was so tempted to buy it! The mist (one of my all time favorites) alone makes it worth it!
