Whenever I see aerial pictures, I am tempted just a wee bit more to get a drone. These aerial pictures of Namibia by Leah Kennedy are beautiful. I love the unexpected bird’s eye view you can get from above. The shapes of sand dunes are familiar, yet alien. Bodies of water seem even more vast. These pictures also make me want to visit new places. I still haven’t visited the Middle East and Africa and hope to go someday!
Otherwise, this weekend I am…
…rushing about between activities. One of my little lady’s good friends (her best friend at the moment?) is having a birthday party so we’ll all celebrate with her. I also am picking up a ballet skirt for the little lady and also attending a networking event for Women’s Day. I’m interested in a few workshops about the ever elusive work life balance and salary negotiations. Then of course I’ll bake up something new for the weekend. Hmm maybe healthy-ish cheesecake?
