FFF – Colorful corridors by Camille Walala

October 4, 2019

Happy Fun, Free Friday lovelies!

I love seeing how the city of London itself was transformed during the London Design Festival (note – I should visit at this time!) South Molton received colorful corridors by Camille Walala. The French artist created bold banners and 10 colorful benches with simple, yet striking patterns. The modern meets the urban London streets in a refreshing way. I’m not always the biggest fan of modern art, but I do appreciate the whimsy in this installation.

Otherwise, this weekend I am…

…having Thai food at one of our favorite restaurants here. This Thai restaurant is located in a pretty random building next to a mall full of Thai stores and a cool Thai grocery store. The restaurant has pretty cheesy decor and they barely speak English, but those are factors that point to its authenticity right? I can’t wait to have a few of their fish dishes and of course some pad Thai. Yum!

What are you up to this weekend?

Have a lovely weekend!

How fun! I’m really liking the Mondrian inspired feel of these pieces. We’re watching baseball and cheering on the Yankees this weekend.
