Have you ever held back for fear of outshining other people?
Perhaps you let your little cousin win at a board game so he could be the victor for the day. Or maybe you didn’t hit the ball quite as hard as you could so that the other team would have a chance.
While we may ocassionally hold back for the little ones in our lives, we should always try to let our true abilities shine. We all have our strengths and may sometimes restrain ourselves to either preserve our own humility or for the sake of another party. But we should let our talents be known and show everyone how truly great we can be. Shine on friends!

That last pic, oh my gosh.
I don’t know why the photos I take on rocks don’t look as good as these! Sometimes I hold up, fashion-wise, and dress down when around friends because I don’t always want to appear like I’m over dressed and they’re all dressed quite casually.
What an incredible piece of art that golden top piece is with teh pleated form. I also loved the quote in the intro. 🙂
