September 29, 2012

Hope you had a great week lovelies!

Here is what happened at Chic ‘n Cheap Living the past week:

– Photo Love {Inspiration}: Transitioning seasons in NYC via Vogue Brazil December 2011

– Fashion Highlight: Daring Details via Gucci, Roberto Cavalli, and Etro for Milan Fashion Week Spring 2013

– Beauty DIY: Polka dot manicure

– Fashion and Interiors: Pink and black (feminine and edgy!)

– Fun Finds/FFF – Musical Light Swings and 30% off for Gap cardholders (40% off in stores!)

Budapest

Here are other worthy reads from blogger buddies and beyond:

– I do love fashion illustrations and these sketches by Joanna Avillez are right on!

– My vow is to head back to Europe next year and this is a great list of the most expensive and affordable cities there.  I want to go to Stockholm (expensive!) to Budapest (more affordable and pictured above)!

– Todd Selby’s photos, especially his photos of people’s homes, have always been fascinating to me.  It is interesting to see his minimalist home which he says he likes to keep that way since the rest of his life is “maximalist”.

– I always knew the benefits of exercise, but didn’t realize that improving physical/motor memory could be one of them!
