Happy Fun, Free Friday lovelies!

Vintage looking miniature objects by Kiyomi

I am always fascinated by artists and their endlessly creative creations.  Sure we have seen artists creating miniature food (which is of course super cool).  But how about Kiyomi who not only creates miniature baguettes and macarons, but also makes vintage looking furniture as well.  I would totally buy this settee if it were my size.  I also adore the detail to everything from the teacups to the Victorian era chairs.  This would fill up the coolest dollhouse wouldn’t it?

Otherwise, this weekend I am…

…attending a final party and then getting ready for our trip home.  I am NOT, NOT, NOT looking forward to the frigid weather in New York.  We usually try to go back in the spring or fall.  But time seems to be slipping by even more quickly and I need to get back to see my family.  So baby fleece onesies it is then!  I also will be excited to show my kids the famous Christmas sites in New York so at least they will have a very NYC Christmas!

What are you up to this weekend?

Have a lovely weekend!

Gosh what is is about things in miniature that just makes so so charming and whimsical? I always have to marvel at the work that must go into the crafting of such tiny creations.

It actually hasn’t been that cold in NYC yet this winter. We hit 60 today and it’s going to be in the 40’s for Christmas next week. Still that is cold compared to temps in Singapore. Have a safe trip! Wishing you and your family a wonderful holiday and a very happy new year!

What an adorable little minature set! So well done and detailled! 🙂

Hope that you had a wonderful Christmas 🙂 It was a busy but fun one here as I hosted it this year for my family. We are still eating lots of delicious leftovers, haha! I’m starting to get back to blogging after my little break for a few days.
